The 11th Our Ocean Conference

The 11th Our Ocean Conference (OOC11), a global gathering bringing together leaders from government, science, business, civil society, and youth to advance ocean conservation and sustainable blue economy initiatives.

Held under the theme “Our Ocean, Our Heritage, Our Future,” the conference will focus on protecting marine ecosystems and strengthening ocean-based livelihoods in the face of climate change, pollution, biodiversity loss, and illegal fishing.

The conference aims to drive concrete commitments and international cooperation to safeguard the world’s oceans and support resilient coastal communities.

OOC11 will be the first Our Ocean Conference ever held in Africa, putting Kenya and the Western Indian Ocean region at the center of global ocean discussions and showcasing Africa’s ocean leadership and rich coastal heritage.
