Tapas Gold

Tapas Gold

In Nyali, Tapas Gold sits in that familiar space between a restaurant and a late-night bar — the kind of place people drift into for dinner and stay long after.

It has been part of the area’s nightlife for over a decade, known less for spectacle and more for consistency: a busy room, steady music, and a crowd that mixes residents with visitors passing through the coast.

A new chapter

The venue entered a new phase in December 2023, when new ownership took over what was previously known as Tapas Cielo.

The transition was quiet but deliberate. Much of the original team remained, and the focus stayed the same — food that works in a social setting, strong cocktails, and service that holds up even on full nights.

What changed is mostly behind the scenes: refreshed interiors, tighter operations, and a clearer sense of direction. The name shifted to Tapas Gold, but the rhythm of the place stayed familiar.

What it feels like

Evenings here build gradually.

Early hours lean towards dinner — small plates, drinks, conversation. As the night moves on, the space fills out and the energy shifts. By late evening, it’s closer to a lounge with a dancefloor than a traditional restaurant.

It’s one of the few places in Nyali that reliably carries through to the early hours, especially on weekends.
