The Uganda–Kenya Coast Tourism & Innovation Summit 2026 is East Africa's premier regional business conference established to bridge tourism, investment, and tech innovation between the two nations. Organized by the Consulate General of Uganda in Mombasa alongside key regional stakeholders, this fifth edition marks a transition from general sector dialogue into a highly targeted, action-oriented platform.

- Addressing Regional Connectivity: A central objective is overcoming regional mobility barriers. Leaders aim to address policy and price bottlenecks to make travel between destinations like Entebbe and Mombasa more integrated, direct, and affordable.
- Joint Tourism Products: The summit encourages travel operators, airlines, and hospitality networks to bundle Uganda's wildlife safaris with Kenya's beach and marine tourism into unified travel experiences.
- Technology & Youth: The theme focuses heavily on leveraging youth creativity and tech infrastructure to modernize cross-border payments and booking systems.

More than 100 trade partners and hundreds of regional delegates will participate in structured networking sessions to secure commercial agreements.
- Pre-Summit Familiarization (Fam) Trip: Ugandan stakeholders will participate in an experiential tour of the Kenyan Coast right before the main conference to understand the destination offerings first-hand.
